Muhammad Mokaev recently expressed his dissatisfaction with the UFC for downplaying his image following his release from the promotion. He defended himself by citing his strong and friendly personality in the world of MMA.Mokaev was released from the MMA organization following his unanimous decision victory over Manel Kape at UFC 304 in July 2024. Notably, Dana White described Mokaev as a tough fighter to deal with, which resulted in his expulsion.In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Mokaev, who was angry with the way UFC handled him, shared his stance:''You know what got me upset, if you do something wrong, you don’t get upset, you get what you deserve. But when you don’t do something, what you’ve done, what you’ve been shown in media as a bad guy, that was what got me upset. I don’t care about this contract, or about anything. But something that’s not true cannot come out like this and ruin somebody’s reputation. If I’m a bad guy, I’m a hard guy to deal with, you don’t keep that guy for seven fights in your organization. You kick him out straight away.''He continued:''I’ve been renewed with a UFC contract twice while I was there with a better purse, of course. If I’m a bad guy, straight away you kick him out.
