Two-division ONE MMA world champion Christian Lee aims to erase all doubts in his upcoming rematch with Alibeg Rasulov.
The pair of elite 170-pounders will run it back in one of five world title bouts in the star-studded ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16 at Tokyo's Ariake Arena, for the lightweight MMA world championship.
Their first encounter at ONE Fight Night 26 marked Lee's return following a lengthy hiatus. 'The Warrior' looked sharp as usual and had the early lead on the judges' scorecards after dominating the striking and grappling exchanges.
However, disaster struck when the Singaporean-American hit the challenger with an accidental eye poke, rendering him unable to continue.

A rematch was absolutely necessary after that no-contest verdict. Moreover, Rasulov insisted he was about to turn the tide before the incident.
This time, Lee promises no controversies by taking out the undefeated Turkish star with a decisive finish.
He told ONE Championship:
"I think I’m gonna just take him down and submit him in the first round. I plan on going in there and wasting no time. I see it ending in a few different ways, but if I could just stay straightforward, I think that I’ll take him down, and I’ll submit him within the first five minutes."

Christian Lee believes he already has Alibeg Rasulov all figured out after their first fight.
That said, the Prodigy Training Center representative sees a clear path to victory.
The 27-year-old superstar said in the same interview with ONE:
"Looking back on the tape, I still feel the same way about it. And I feel so much better going into this one because having been in there, sharing the ring with him and then now coming back a second time, I always feel like it’s a little better getting ready the second time around."
