The 35-year-old will look to add to his legend against interim 155-pound kickboxing king Masaaki Noiri in a world title unification bout at ONE 173 on Nov. 16 in Tokyo.

Superbon’s fanbase further grew when he appeared as a delegate for Thailand in Netflix’s hit show Physical: Asia.

He credited that experience to gaining worldwide recognition from ONE Championship. Superbon told the promotion:

"Many people ask me how I got there. I believe it comes down to my journey. I am a Champion in ONE Championship, and I gained my fame through ONE before being invited onto the Netflix show."

The Superbon Training Camp founder continued:

“It's not easy to stand here as the ONE Kickboxing World Champion, and being picked up by Netflix is probably a side benefit of achieving that status. So, I have to thank ONE for promoting their athletes to become global, world-renowned idols."

To get to where he is today, Superbon poured in tremendous dedication and sacrifice to his craft. He further showed all those incredible qualities in his leadership role for Team Thailand in the hit show.

Superbon says he couldn't pass up the opportunity to represent Thailand on Netflix

Superbon is a big fan of the hit series Physical: 100, and was delighted to be a part of its third installment, pitting countries against one another in a team format.

In the same ONE Championship interview, Superbon recalled how he got the invite:

"The production team reached out to me and invited me to compete. I had watched the first season of Physical: 100, so I sat down with the team to talk about filming for the show in Korea. I immediately thought, 'Wow, this is something new and fun!' Plus, it's not acting, it's a competition where you use your physical potential, which is what I'm naturally good at."
