'The Warrior' will run it back with undefeated Turkish challenger Alibeg Rasulov in one of five world title bouts in the blockbuster ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.

This massive spectacle takes place on November 16 at Tokyo, Japan's Ariake Arena.

This rematch was necessary following the anti-climactic end of their first meeting last year.

Lee appeared to be cruising to an early lead in the judges' scorecards with his signature versatility, getting the upper hand in the striking and grappling exchanges.

But an errant eyepoke from Lee cut the fight short, as the fight was deemed a no-contest after Rasulov could not continue.

After experiencing Rasulov's capabilities, Lee is eager to finish the job without the controversy this time around.

The two-division ONE world champion told the promotion in his pre-event interview:

"Looking back on the tape, I still feel the same way about it. And I feel so much better going into this one because having been in there, sharing the ring with him and then now coming back a second time, I always feel like it’s a little better getting ready the second time around."

Christian Lee shrugs off Alibeg Rasulov's claims that he was turning the tide

Alibeg Rasulov was adamant that he was making a comeback before the unfortunate incident that halted his first meeting with Christian Lee.

The lightweight and welterweight MMA kingpin, however, dismissed the notion and claimed he was on his way to another dominant world title defense.

Lee told ONE:

“I think that him being more competitive didn’t change the fact that I was dominating the fight, and the way that we felt in there, I felt that the momentum was shifting. That’s why I was upset about the ending.”
