Aliff is set to face 19-year-old Lebanese star ‘The Scorpion’ Ramadan Ondash at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend, and he’s looking to score a statement victory and position himself for the next crack at Prajanchai PK Saenchai’s belt.

“After I beat Elmehdi, Prajanchai came up to the ring to have a face-off with me. I was happy because I thought, ‘Oh, I must have a chance to fight for the title next.’ I was excited, thinking I would finally face the champion, but in the end, I didn’t.”

Aliff says being in close proximity to Prajanchai, however, made him even hungrier for the gold. He added:

“I want to face great fighters. I even got to touch Prajanchai’s belt, just to get a feel for it. I believe I will win it someday.”

A victory over Ondash could be just enough to finally book Aliff the world title shot he’s been yearning for.
