ONE women's atomweight kickboxing world champion Phetjeeja of Thailand dismissed notions about her possibly struggling in her return to Muay Thai.
The 23-year-old embarks on her quest for two-sport supremacy when she battles dangerous Polish opponent Martyna Dominczak in a three-round atomweight Muay Thai affair at ONE Fight Night 38 on Prime Video.
While Phetjeeja has remained active, she spent the last two years competing under kickboxing rules, where she captured the interim crown, unified the belt, and defended her title.
As far as ‘The Queen’ is concerned, there would be no need for adjustments since ‘The Art of Eight Limbs’ comes naturally to her.

"I don't think there should be any problem because I am more familiar with Muay Thai. So for me, going from Muay Thai to kickboxing, that's harder,” Phetjeeja told Nick Atkin.
“But going from kickboxing to Muay Thai, I feel like I adapt easily and faster. So there shouldn't be any problem."
Under kickboxing rules, Phetjeeja defeated some of the biggest names in women’s striking, including Janet Todd, Anissa Meksen, and, most recently, Kana Morimoto.
Before making the transition, the Team Mehdi Zatout athlete notched a perfect 4-0 ONE Friday Fights record, with all wins coming by finishes under Muay Thai rules.

Martyna Dominczak says Phetjeeja's time away from Muay Thai will be a factor
Martyna Dominczak remains confident despite facing a battle-tested warrior like Phetjeeja, who's gone 7-0 in ONE Championship.
For the Polish striker, 'The Queen' has spent the last two years fighting under kickboxing rules, which plays to her advantage.
"I really love Muay Thai. I'm active in Muay Thai. So I will use my elbows and knees for sure. Also, I want to check [how she is] in the clinch, how she will be working there. And we will see, but I think it will be my [advantage]," Dominczak shared.
Watch Phetjeeja face Dominczak at ONE Fight Night 38 on Dec. 5 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, streaming live in U.S. primetime on Prime Video for North American fans.
