Cejudo is among the most popular entities in the MMA world today and is widely considered one of the greatest fighters in the sport. The former two-division UFC champion is also an Olympic gold medalist wrestler. He has a professional MMA record of 16-5, with eight knockouts and eight decision victories.

After a long and decorated career, it appears the former flyweight and bantamweight UFC champion is done with fighting. 'Triple C' recently declared that his fight against Talbott will be his last outing in the cage and claimed he's ready to "move on" from the sport. During a recent media scrum, Cejudo said:

"This is it for me, guys. This is it for me, unless Dana [White] gets me a big fight with some other Mexican, then I'd be willing to do it. Other than that, I think I've done everything at the highest level since I was 11 years old. From cutting weight at that damn time, and there's just a lot of satisfaction in my life. I'm ready to move on, too. I have a couple of kids who want to play with their Dad 24/7."

Dominick Cruz on Henry Cejudo vs. Payton Talbott at UFC 323

Dominick Cruz recently shared his two cents on the Henry Cejudo vs. Payton Talbott fight and claimed his former rival could get a positive result against the 27-year-old fighter.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Cruz broke down how Cejudo could beat Talbott and said:

"Talbott's good, he's a real threat. As long as Henry mixes in his wrestling, if he wrestled as much as Merab [Dvalishvili] does, which he has the tools to do so, I think he would do great against Talbott, but I don't know if he will. I think he might try to stand up with him."

He added:

"So, it really comes down to what Henry decides to do. He's good enough to outwrestle Talbott for three rounds and shut him down. Definitely, no doubt in my mind. But if he strikes with him mostly like he's been doing, I think Talbott will create a lot of problems for him if he doesn't wrestle."
