Oleksandr Usyk recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight.Paul and Joshua are set to throw down in a professional heavyweight boxing match on Dec. 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The fight is scheduled for three eight-minute rounds and will be broadcast worldwide on Netflix. Paul was originally booked for an exhibition fight against Gervonta Davis in November, but the bout was scrapped due to the WBA champion's latest legal issues.Given Joshua's incredible resume as a boxer, many have dismissed Paul's chances against the former two-time heavyweight world champion. In a recent interview with Boxing Scene, Usyk vowed to "pray" for Paul and shared a brutally honest preview of the fight:"If Anthony Joshua wants, he will kill this guy. Listen, a lot of questions, blah, blah, blah. Only one answer, Anthony Joshua. [He] is an Olympic champion, first. Jake Paul, yeah, a sportsman, a YouTuber, a showman. [Joshua is a] Rolls-Royce, [Paul is a] Fiat. Listen, it's true. It's just true. It's business, more money, only this... Yes, I will pray [for] Jake Paul because I want to fight with Jake Paul in the octagon."Joe Rogan shares his thoughts on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fightJoe Rogan believes Jake Paul fighting Anthony Joshua in the squared circle is one of the "craziest propositions" of all time and claimed he's intrigued by the matchup. Rogan also outlined how the outcome of the fight could potentially affect the public narratives about the integrity of the bout.In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Chris Williamson (JRE #2418), the UFC commentator shared his two cents on the fight and said:"Realistically, it is one of the craziest propositions of all time. You take a guy who just had a boxing match that looked like a sparring match with a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, and then you’re gonna fight one of the absolute scariest knockout artists in the heavyweight division... The fact that Jake Paul wants to fight that guy, hey, I'll watch. I'm definitely going to watch, you got me there."He continued:"Knowing what Anthony Joshua is a specialist at, he's a specialist at putting knuckles through your f**king brain. That's what he's gonna try to do to Jake Paul and anything other than that, from a 34-year-old Anthony Joshua, would make us all think that it's a fixed fight."
