ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is coming off a spectacular performance at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri at Ariake Arena on Nov. 16. The Thai striking icon delivered a masterclass in defeating interim titleholder Masaaki Noiri via unanimous decision in front of the latter’s hometown crowd in Tokyo, Japan.
Superbon was the only Thai fighter to win that night. Numsurin Chor Ketwina and even former three-sport queen Stamp Fairtex all met defeat.

Superbon recently had a chat with Superlek, and he now has this message for the flyweight kickboxing king:
“From what I’ve talked with him, when Superlek comes back, I really want him to come back with determination. I feel like Superlek is a top fighter. I want him to be determined. I want him to be confident. I want him to know that he’s still good. That he’s still amazing.”

Superbon expected Masaaki Noiri to be a tough opponent
As for Superbon, the 35-year-old has proven once again that he is the pound-for-pound best kickboxer in the world following his dominant victory over Masaaki Noiri at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.
After the fight, Superbon had nothing but kind words for his fallen adversary and the Japanese fans. He told ONE Championship:
“I'm not surprised. He looked very tough and he’s really tough in the ring. He had it big for me. He get a lot of damage from me and he's still standing there, never backed [down]. I enjoy, the fight and really fun to fight with him. And I love Japanese fan. All the fans support him, support me. Cheered for him, cheered for me. I love Japanese fans, thank you so much.”
