Dana White recently recalled Francis Ngannou physically confronting him after a discussion about a $50,000 bonus went sour. It's no secret that there is some bad blood between White and Ngannou. The two have traded barbs online and in interviews since the Cameroonian-French fighter's exit from the promotion in 2023. Ngannou was notably stripped of the UFC heavyweight title and became an unrestricted free agent after the two parties were unable to agree on the terms of a contract extension.Ngannou later signed with the PFL and ventured into professional boxing. He lost to Tyson Fury via split decision in October 2023, before being knocked out in the second round by Anthony Joshua in March 2024. He made his MMA return against Renan Ferreira in October 2024, winning the bout via first-round knockout. In a recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast, White recalled a tense encounter between him and Ngannou inside his office:"He was pissed off he didn’t get a $50,000 in his last fight, that he didn’t get the bonus of the night. I said Francis, you didn’t get it for this, that [reason] and he’s in my office and he’s arguing with me... The conversation’s over, and I’m starting to leave, and he grabs me by my shirt and pushes me back in my office, and I said, 'Dude, get your f**king hands off me.' I could see in this guy’s face and in his eyes and the way he’s acting who this guy really f**king is."White claimed that Ngannou also put his hands on UFC CBO Hunter Campbell and continued:"My guy Hunter [Campbell], they were talking about something, it might have even been that same thing. And when Hunter started to walk away, Francis grabbed him by the f**king back of his collar and f**king pulled him back and said, 'We’re not done talking yet.' This guy’s not a good f**king guy. He’s a bad guy." [H/t: MMA Fighting]When Dana White dismissed Francis Ngannou potentially returning to the UFCIn June, Dana White addressed the possibility of Francis Ngannou returning to the UFC and made it clear that he wasn't keen on letting that happen. White also stated that he would be shocked to see Ngannou compete inside the octagon again. In a media scrum (via @jedigoodman on X), White fielded a question about Ngannou's potential UFC return and said:"He would consider coming back to the UFC if what? One thing I've learned over the years about Francis is Francis doesn't always mean what he says publicly. What he says behind the scenes is different from what he says publicly. I'm not a big fan. I would be shocked if Francis ever came back here, on lots of different levels. I'm not a fan, and he doesn't always mean what he says publicly."
