Before the Japanese striking specialist seeks to leave the Ariake Arena as the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title against Numsurin Chor Ketwina at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Sunday, November 16, he opened up about what he expects from the Thai veteran's preparation.

The 24-year-old revealed why he believes Numsurin will enter their world title clash with a detailed strategic blueprint.

"In his recent fight against Songchainoi, he mentioned in the post-fight interview that he found his opponent's weaknesses and fought to his strengths. He said the same thing about my fight, so I expect he'll study my footage and come up with a strategy," Nadaka told the promotion in a pre-fight interview.

For the Japanese hero, knowing that Numsurin will enter their championship clash having analyzed his footage creates an interesting dynamic. He must balance executing his strengths while remaining unpredictable enough to avoid falling into patterns his opponent has identified and prepared counters for.

However, the Eiwa Sports Gym affiliate, who rides a 39-fight win streak heading into this pivotal matchup, has demonstrated the type of problem-solving ability and adaptability that have allowed him to overcome opponents regardless of their preparation throughout his career.

Nadaka confident he will 'make history' at ONE 173 in Tokyo

During the event's official press conference in September, Nadaka remained extremely confident that he'll add world title No.11 to his list of accolades at ONE 173.

Speaking to members of the media, the Japanese striking wizard offered:

“I have a [chance] to become the first ever ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion. That’s very big for me. I’m very happy to fight against Numsurin. If I ever become the first champion at atomweight, I think I’ll actually make history. And I think all the people who love martial arts will be [talking] about me for the rest of my career and going forward.”

His world title matchup alongside Numsurin will be one of five world title battles at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri. PPV passes for the card can be purchased here.
