'The Bosnian Menace' Denis Puric isn't buying the hype surrounding his upcoming opponent, and he's confident his power will be the difference when they collide in a fierce clash next month.

The 40-year-old Bosnian-Canadian veteran makes the long walk into the Circle at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena on Sunday, Nov. 16.

Standing across him on fight night will be none other than former three-division K-1 champion Takeru Segawa. Their kickboxing matchup will be contested at flyweight.

In a pre-fight interview with ONE Championship, 'The Bosnian Menace' broke down why he believes 'Natural Born Krusher's' striking arsenal won't be enough to overcome him despite fighting in front of a passionate Japanese crowd.

"He's got no boxing, he can't box with me. He doesn't have enough power to box with me, right? He might be fast, but I'm pretty fast as well. I'm more explosive, I feel like, and I hit harder," Denis Puric said.

Though Takeru brings decorated K-1 credentials and world-class striking to the matchup, Puric's clearly feels his dance partner lacks the knockout power necessary to trouble a battle-tested veteran.
