Newly crowned undisputed ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon of Thailand paid close attention to Nabil Anane's divisional debut at ONE 173.The 35-year-old striking savant unified the 155-pound belts by defeating Japan’s Masaaki Noiri in the main event of the blockbuster card at Ariake Arena in Tokyo last November 16.Prior to his stunning win, Anane also fought in the same card against Hiromi ‘Purple Comet’ Wajima.Despite going up a weight class, the 21-year-old tower displayed adjustments to his power, timing, and overall effectiveness for the dominant unanimous decision win.Now that Anane is in his division and proclaimed his desire to be a two-sport and two-division world champion, Superbon gave his honest thoughts on the Thai-Algerian star."He did good. The technique could still be better. The damage he does is still different between his weight class and featherweight. I think it will take time to jump into featherweight for Nabil," Superbon told ONE Championship in a ONE 173 backstage clip. If I beat everyone here, I'm gonna go back to Muay Thai," Superbon told ONE.
