Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s former manager, took offence to recent comments made by Ronda Rousey on the Russian.
Rousey appeared on Bert Kreischer’s podcast Bertcast and had some rather unsavory comments on the state of MMA fans. For some reason, she also took shots at several UFC stars and suggested Khabib left the fight game too early while keeping his undefeated record.
Rousey also claimed that fans loved Khabib because of this record, and he never really tested himself.
Abdelaziz was made aware of these comments while on Submission Radio. The MMA manager spoke about how Rousey could never compare herself to Khabib:

“She was a great athlete and the girls she beat, they not athletic. But when she met Amanda [Nunes] she lost. She can’t compare herself to Khabib, she’s not like a GOAT, she’s unhappy.”
Abdelaziz also laid down a challenge for Rousey to prove she was better than Khabib.
“If you think you are better than Khabib, you should come back. Kayla Harrison, your old friend, am sure will be very happy to open the door and give you an a** whooping.”
Abdelaziz finished off by saying that he was shocked by these comments and even took a major swipe at her by bringing up her loss to Holly Holm.
“Khabib is a legit superstar and icon, undefeated, undisputed champion. He is always going to be a champion. He doesn’t have a highlight reel of getting knocked out by Holly Holm.”

Ronda Rousey also takes aim at Joe Rogan
Khabib Nurmagomedov was not the only person in Ronda Rousey’s sights on her latest podcast appearance.
She also took a shot at UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan. The former UFC and WWE champion was asked about Rogan’s fighting knowledge, to which she gave a rather blunt response:
“He’s not an expert, he’s a fan with an audience. He’s never fought. Taekwondo is not fighting.”
While this caught the attention of many, there was some support for Rogan. Valentina Shevchenko, also considered one of the best female MMA stars ever, was quick to offer her support.
