ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade of Brazil doubts Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu’s suffocating style would work on him.
‘Wonder Boy’ puts 26 pounds of gold on the line in the promotion’s final U.S. primetime event of the year, ONE Fight Night 38, this Friday, Dec. 5.
Dubbed ‘The Tormentor’ for his punishing wrestling and submission skills, Baatarkhuu earned his title shot with ferocious intent.
The Mongolian powerhouse won six of his seven matches in the promotion and will enter this bout on a three-fight winning streak.

Baatarkhuu’s momentum and excellent grappling skills make him a legitimate threat to end Andrade’s reign.
However, the Brazilian champion remains unfazed, since the challenger must find a way to take him down first.
The 28-year-old expressed complete confidence in his grappling defense in his pre-event interview with Nick Atkin:
"I don't think he's going to be able to take me down. To take somebody down you need to hold them for three seconds, right? So I don't think he's going to be able to do that with me. But he brings a different style from my past opponents."

Fabricio Andrade eager to make a statement at ONE Fight Night 38
For Fabricio Andrade, his latest title defense will be a chance to silence those who still doubt him.
Some pundits believe the Mongolian's grueling grappling-heavy style will be the perfect antidote to 'Wonder Boy's' grappling.
The Brazilian aims to prove them otherwise.
“This defense is important because of his different style. You know, he’s a guy who has a different style from every opponent that I faced before," Fabricio Andrade told the promotion in an exclusive interview.
“So for me to defend my belt against him now, and if I can dominate the fight, it’s going to show that I can do it, that I’m on a different level.”
ONE Fight Night 38 will broadcast live in U.S. primetime on Prime Video for North American audiences.
