ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade spent some time back home in Fortaleza, Brazil, training at Fighting Nerds to upgrade his skills. And the primary focus of training camp was defense — particularly in the grappling department.
The 28-year-old Tiger Muay Thai and Evolve MMA product is certainly going to need it when he takes on No.4-ranked bantamweight MMA contender and Physical: Asia star ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.
The pair of bantamweight elites face off in the main event at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend.
Andrade believes Baatarkhuu will have a difficult time keeping him on the mats, if he’s able to take him down at all. He shared with Bangkok Post’s Nick Atkin:

Fabricio Andrade says winning world title humbled him
Another major shift in ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade comes outside of the cage. While he was known for his aggressive nature toward opponents in the past, the 28-year-old says he is now more tame, and instead likes to show respect for his foes.
He will enter ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend against ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhu full of respect for the Mongolian star.
Andrade said:
“I don’t need to treat anybody bad to prove that I’m better than anyone. Now I’m more of a good guy.”
