The 36-year-old Mongolian powerhouse and No.4-ranked divisional contender challenges reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade in the main event of ONE Fight Night 38.

Ahead of their contest on Friday, Dec. 5, inside Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium, he refused to make bold predictions about who holds the advantage when they finally meet inside the Circle.

"It's difficult to say at the moment, as we haven't truly faced each other in competition. It may only become clear what level a person is at on the day of the fight, with the outcome deciding afterward," Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu shared.

While the Brazilian champion's devastating striking arsenal – honed through over 40 victories in combined Muay Thai and kickboxing competition – presents obvious dangers, the Mongolian's suffocating grappling game creates equally clear threats.

As such, for someone standing one victory away from becoming only the second Mongolian fighter to capture ONE Championship gold, the focus remains on preparation rather than proclamation.

Fabricio Andrade labels Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu as "a good opponent"

In a separate interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, the defending king shared his honest assessment of Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.

Per Andrade, the Team Tungaa and Shandas MMA affiliate deserves his shot at his 26 pounds of gold after an impressive run under the ONE banner.

"Yes, he's a good opponent. He's coming from good wins. He had a loss against Artem Belakh back in – I don't remember the exact date – but after that, he got three wins again. So, he's deserving, you know. So let's go," the Tiger Muay Thai martial artist offered.
