Nabil Anane eyes multi-division domination
Nabil Anane will be competing at featherweight for the first time in ONE Championship at ONE 173. It part of his push to dominate in various weight divisions in the promotion.
The 21-year-old Team Mehdi Zatout standout started his ONE journey at flyweight before transitioning to bantamweight where he has had a lot of success so far. It is something he looks to replicate in his entry in the 155-pound class.
Anane spoke about his decision to switch lanes in an interview with ONE Championship, saying:
"One of my dreams is to be one of the best in every division that I'll fight."
He added:
"If in bantamweight there are no more opponents, I'll move up to featherweight, and I'll do the best in featherweight also. And when I clean up all of featherweight, I'll be the best in lightweight. That's what I want to be. That's my goal."
Entering ONE 173, Anane is one of the streaking fighters in ONE Championship, winning his last seven matches.
