Denis Puric has reached his breaking point with Johan Ghazali's constant disrespect, and his threats carry genuine venom.
The 40-year-old striking specialist squares off against former three-division K-1 champion Takeru Segawa in a flyweight kickboxing bout at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena on Sunday, November 16.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post (SCMP), 'The Bosnian Menace' was asked about the rising Malaysian-American star and whether their heated rivalry will eventually lead to a showdown, and the veteran striker unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against the 18-year-old fan-favorite.
"Tell me about Jojo. Is this score going to get settled before you hang them up? I'm sure he's got potential to be a good fighter, but right now, he's just a big mouth on him," the Bosnian-Canadian veteran shared.

"He can't even beat guys that I'm beating up. So why is he opening his mouth, calling me out? I'll end his f***ing career very fast, and I don't want to do that," Denis Puric continued in his interview with SCMP.
The Team CSK representative's explosive response reveals frustration that has been building for over a year as the two have traded barbs through media interviews and social media exchanges.

Denis Puric breaks down his path to victory vs. Takeru
While he has genuine anger to destroy Johan Ghazali, Puric might keep this in the back seat for now as he plans to impress the masses in his flyweight kickboxing outing against Takeru at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.
In a separate interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, the 40-year-old detailed his path to a win over 'Natural Born Krusher' when the promotion returns in Tokyo.
"I just need to land a nice shot, and I think he's going to be wobbled, at least to the point where I can finish the fight," Puric offered.
"He's not the kind of fighter who goes in there and protects himself. He is quite open. I see openings, man. I see openings, and I see myself landing a left hook and putting him down."
Can Denis Puric walk the talk, or will Takeru prepare a surprise to send the former into the shadow realm on November 16?
