Last week, Mojang shipped the final new features for the Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem game drop. However, that doesn't mean the Winter 2025 game drop is ready to be shipped, as some features still need polishing and bug fixes. In Minecraft snapshot 25w46a, Mojang has now started to focus on refining Mounts of Mayhem features.Minecraft snapshot 25w46a brings a few changes to mounts, the new Parched Skeleton, and Nautiluses. Parched have become immune to the Weakness effect, and mounts won't start panicking when ridden by mobs. Also, Nautiluses now have a new sound effect for their dash attack in Minecraft.Apart from mobs, developers have also improved the way mob spawn eggs are sorted in the Creative inventory, added a new splash text message to commemorate YouTuber KurtJMac reaching the Far Lands by walking, and more.
