Minecraft player's massive custom End city build will leave you amazed

The blocky world of Minecraft is generated using an algorithm and this includes all the biomes, structures such as villages, temples, towers, etc. However, this does not mean that players cannot expand these areas by adding their own creations. In fact, talented builders have shown how everything in the game can be made larger, more complex, and better in many ways.

A Minecraft player, u/-Whyamisoweird-, posted some images on the game’s subreddit showing how they added a bit of their own creation in the alien world of the End dimension. In fact, calling it “a bit” would be an understatement. The pictures featured a massive End city with tall buildings with complicated architecture.

What’s even better is that the original poster designed the structures so well to fit in with the overall look of the End dimension. Tall houses with nicely designed interiors and use of great colors made the entire build look beautiful from every angle. It must be noted that the scale of the build was massive despite all the details, showing how much effort was put into the entire thing.

u/Narrow-Ad-4280 rightfully pointed out that one cannot call it an End city as it is clearly an End metropolis. u/StormLordZeus said that everything looks great and the interiors make things even better. They also asked how the builder managed to get purple wood as it is not available in the game.

The original poster replied that they used datapacks to make the pale oak wood turn into purple. For those who do not know, datapacks are not exactly mods but they can be used to tweak the look of some game items and mobs.

u/Beneficial-Poem-4975 said that they would choose this over the original End city as these structures make things look much better. u/JTLBlindman pointed out that the vanilla End cities are very disappointing in terms of what it offers, especially when the player has to work very hard to get to it.

The End dimension in Minecraft is a place where players reach after a long preparation. This is where the Ender dragon resides and many players consider defeating this challenging mob to be the end of the game. The coveted elytra item is also found in this dimension.

Despite so many challenges to reach the End, the place is quite underwhelming. There is nothing worth interesting, no new mobs, or even some structures that justify the effort. Mojang Studios have to work on bringing a major End dimension update that completely transforms it, something similar to what they did with the Nether dimension.
