Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem mob location guide

Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem will feature several new mobs and mob variants. Some of them were introduced in September, when the game drop was announced, while others were directly added to snapshots during development. Every new mob in the game will have specific locations or conditions in which they spawn.

Camel Husk

Camel Husk is an undead variant of regular camels in Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem that will only spawn in deserts. When a zombie husk spawns naturally in the desert in a large open area, the camel husk has a 10% chance of spawning with it. This means that the new mob's spawning chances are tied to zombie husks.

Since camel husks are undead and are tied to zombie husk spawns, they will not spawn in peaceful difficulty mode.

Nautilus

Nautilus is a new underground creature that can be tamed and ridden. They will spawn in all Ocean biomes, where they can spawn individually or in groups of 2-3. Nautiluses will spawn between Y levels 38 and 58. In Bedrock Edition, nautiluses have a 10% chance to spawn as a baby.

They have a 50% chance of spawning in frozen, cold, deep cold, and deep frozen ocean biomes. Then, they have a 45% chance of spawning in warm oceans, and the least chance in regular and lukewarm oceans.

Zombie Nautilus

Zombie Nautilus is an undead variant of the regular nautilus that can also spawn in all Ocean biomes and in Dripstone Caves. Their spawning is entirely tied to the drowned zombie since they will not spawn naturally without it.

When an adult drowned spawns in an ocean and is wielding a trident, it has a 50% chance of spawning with a zombie nautilus as a jockey. Since the mob's spawning is tied to the drowned zombie, they cannot spawn anywhere in peaceful difficulty.

The zombie nautiluses that will spawn in warm oceans will automatically become coral zombie nautilus. It is a special variant that has coral reefs stuck in its shell instead of green leaves.

Parched

Parched are new skeleton variants that will exclusively spawn in Deserts, replacing 50% of regular skeletons. This means that there will be equal amounts of regular and parched skeletons in deserts after Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem.

Zombie Horse

In the Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem game drop, zombie horses will start spawning in survival mode. They will naturally spawn in the Savanna and Plains biomes and other Plains variants (on grass blocks). Their spawning is tied to zombies wielding an iron spear. Only a regular zombie can spawn with a zombie horse as a mount; other zombie variants cannot.
