Because of this, Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem became one of the very few updates in which Mojang did not add any world generation features. Here are more details about it.

In most Minecraft updates, Mojang has added some kind of new world generation feature. Biomes, structures, and even new blocks that spawn naturally in a location can be categorized as world generation.

In Trails and Tales, new Cherry Grove and Trail Ruins were added. In Tricky Trials, the Trial Chamber was added. In Garden Awakens, the Pale Garden was added. Even in Spring to Life and Chase the Skies, new naturally generating blocks like leaf litter, cactus flower, dried ghast, etc., were added. In the Copper Age, End Sky flashes were added.

However, Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem is one of the first updates in several years in which not a single world generation feature is added. Several mobs will naturally spawn in biomes, but not a single new naturally-generating feature was added. Even though the game is entirely built on blocks, this particular game drop did not even add a single new block to the game, let alone a biome or a structure.

Though it might not mean anything in particular, it is a surprising and fascinating fact. It will be interesting to see whether Mojang skips world generation features in the next game drop as well, or fully focuses on it to add several new biomes and structures.

Though Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem does not add any world generation features, it brings several other exciting features like nautilus, zombie nautilus, zombie horse, camel husk, parched skeleton, spear, netherite horse armor, and more.

Nautilus is a brand new underwater rideable mob that will also have a zombie variant, on which drowned zombies with tridents will spawn. The mob can be tamed by pufferfish and ridden with a saddle.

Spear is a new melee weapon that can attack in two ways: jab and charge. During a charge attack, the attack damage increases as the player's movement speed increases. The weapon has a new exclusive enchantment called lunge. This power-up allows players to dash forward when they jump and perform a jab attack.

Camel and skeleton get unique undead, desert-exclusive variants named camel husk and parched. The Parched skeleton will be similar to a zombie husk, but will shoot arrows of weakness.

Zombie horse, which was an unused mob in the game files, is finally returning to survival mode with this game drop. It will spawn in Plains and Savanna biomes with a regular zombie mounted on it, wielding an iron spear.
