Minecraft fan suggests new useful ideas for armor stands

Minecraft has a lot of different items that can be used for various purposes. For example, the blocky world is filled with hostile mobs and players need armor to protect them from the threats.

And to keep these armors properly, the developers have also included the armor stand. However, it seems that there are many different ways to use the armor stand properly instead of just being a storage place for the armor.

A Minecraft player, u/Inevitable-Rice-8596, posted an image on the game’s subreddit showing their concept of using the armor stand in a unique way. The image showed that there should be a way of combining a stick to the armor stand to give it arms, and then with a haystack to turn it into a scarecrow. Finally, players can add carved pumpkin to make it functional and it would scare the ravens away.

The original poster suggested that ravens can be added later in the game so that players can use the scarecrow to protect their farms. This could be an interesting addition because farming in Minecraft is very simple and the addition of a mob that can potentially destroy the crops would certainly make things more interesting.

u/Andronix added that these armor stand scarecrows should also scare the phantoms away. The user added that they know cats can do the same thing but they move too much. For those who do not know, phantom mobs spawn when the player has not slept for at least three in-game days.

u/EnigmaticGolem liked the idea and suggested that the scarecrows should not only make phantoms go away but also despawn them so that they don’t make any noise. u/Middle_Weakness_3279 said that players can tame the cat with fishes and make them sit so that they don’t move around.

u/IllustriousAd2392 pointed out that the image features the target dummy from the spin-off game Minecraft Dungeons. u/ThiccStrome said that this item would be a great addition for testing out weapons.

Minecraft recently got the Mounts of Mayhem update and it added a lot of interesting items and mobs to the game, including the spear weapon. This is an interesting addition as it improves the combat of the game. Players can execute two types of attacks; jab and charged attack.

The spear will make player vs player combat so much more interesting that what it is currently. As for exploration, players can finally move around in the ocean by mounting the nautilus mob. What’s worth speculating is whether Mojang Studios will add more ocean content in the future or not.
