Minecraft fan makes hilarious consent mod for creepers

Minecraft creepers are some of the most annoying mobs in the blocky world. They sneak up behind the players when they least expect it, make a rustling sound, and before the player can react properly, these mobs blow up. This not only kills the player but also destroys the area around them. But what would happen if someone made a mod to make the creeper more “thoughtful?”

A Minecraft player made a post on the game’s subreddit showing a mod they made that makes the creeper into a thoughtful mob that asks the player permission to blow up near them.

The attached video showed the player summoning a creeper and walking towards it. The moment this mob was about to blow up, a message pops up asking if the player wants the creeper to go ahead with the explosion or not. If denied, the creeper despawns.

u/BOLD_COMMENTS_FOR_ME commented that this is a very fun mob and would be a great addition to a meme mod pack if there are any. u/_Bioscar_ replied that this mod can be used with Crazy Craft mod. For those who do not know, Crazy Craft mod turns the Minecraft world into a messy, random world with bizarre things happening with every interaction.

u/valerielynx suggested that the creeper should also be renamed to the “politer” as it was much more polite now. u/Uranium-Sandwich657 asked the original poster to turn the creeper into a passive mob. u/EricIsntSmart asked if the animations can be changed to make the creeper walk slowly away looking down in a sad way.

It seemed that other players also wanted the creeper to do something when denied to explode. u/MiyaBera asked the original poster to change the creeper from disappearing to walk away slowly to make things more natural.
