Patna Pirates' star raider Ayan Lohchab picked his best moment from Pro Kabaddi 2025. The Pirates qualified for the Playoffs and made it to Eliminator 3. However, they fell short of making the final by two games. They lost against the Telugu Titans in the third Eliminator.
Notably, the Patna Pirates were at the bottom of the table at one stage. They were on the brink of elimination as well. However, they scripted a historic comeback. The Pirates won five games in a row and made the top eight. They finished seventh after the league stage.
Moreover, they won the first Play-in, Eliminator 1 and 2. Therefore, they managed to win eight consecutive matches. Ayan Lohchab reflected that the spectacular turnaround was the best moment of the season for him.

"I think winning eight consecutive matches was the best moment for me. I don't think any team would have won these many matches in a row. It was a very good comeback and this was the best moment," he said in an exclusive interaction with Sportskeeda.
The Pirates had won only three out of their first ten games. However, they bounced back and did the unthinkable. Ayan Lochab credited the coach and management for their constant support.
"In the beginning, the team and the defense didn't do well. We didn't start well. Then our defense started working well. And the raiding team was doing well. So, our team made a comeback. And the coach and management also supported us so it felt very good," he stated.
"This is the thing (on their comeback and knowing they can comeback from anywhere). Our management was very good. There was a lot of support from the team. We were winning 8 consecutive matches. We kept on playing. They kept on asking us to play our game. We didn't have any pressure from the team. They kept on asking us to play our game," he added.
Ayan Lohchab was the main reason for their stellar comeback. He scored 316 raid points from 22 matches with 16 Super 10s. The Patna Pirates' star finished as the best raider of the season.

Patna Pirates winning eight games in a row under pressure highlighted the fitness and mental strength of the team. They played multiple back-to-back games in these eight matches. However, they managed to pull off a miraculous comeback under tremendous pressure.
Ayab Lohchab reflected that the Patna Pirates were the fittest among all teams. He also credited the management for conducting a solid pre-season camp.
"We had a very good camp. I think our team was the most fit. We played a lot of back-to-back matches. We worked well on it that is why we could play so many games back-to-back which were also do-or-die matches," he said.
Ayan kept performing well despite the team losing games. He reflected that his individual performance did not matter. He believed that they would have only been able to do well when the whole team performed as a unit. Once again, he credited the coach and management for backing them even when they were on a losing streak.
He added that they allowed them to play their game with freedom and did not put pressure on them at any stage.
