Jasveer Singh was the Head Coach of the UP Yoddhas in Pro Kabaddi 2025. However, following the team's disappointing performance, he resigned from the position. The Yoddhas finished ninth with seven wins from 18 matches and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

"We had the same team last year. The coach is the same, the players are the same. But sometimes the players who did well last time cannot do well this time. There have been some changes too. But it is not fair to put all the responsibility on the players. So it is also my responsibility as a head coach if the team is not performing. Taking that responsibility, I am resigning as the head coach of UP Yoddhas," Jasveer had said during a post-match press conference.

Jasveer Singh was with the UP Yoddhas for seven seasons. Under him, they made the playoffs five times and played three semi-finals as well. He will now be seen with the Patna Pirates in the next Pro Kabaddi season.

Patna Pirates scripted a miraculous comeback in Pro Kabaddi 2025

Patna Pirates scripted a comeback for the ages in Pro Kabaddi 2025. While Anup Kumar was their Head Coach at the start of the season, they had a poor performance, winning just two out of nine matches. They were reeling in the tenth position on the points table.

However, Randeep Dalal then took over as Head Coach and turned things around for the Patna Pirates. They went on to win five games in a row and made the playoffs, finishing seventh in the league stage with eight wins from 18 games.

Moreover, they won three consecutive games in the playoffs as well and made it to the third Eliminator. Unfortunately, they lost to the Telugu Titans as their campaign came to an end.

Nonetheless, it was a brilliant performance from them to qualify from the bottom of the standings.
