With this win, Patna Pirates progressed to Eliminator 3. They will face the Telugu Titans on Tuesday, October 28. Randeep Dalal reckoned that their defense began working well at the right time. The Pirates won five games in a row to qualify and have won three consecutive games in the Playoffs.

They were dominant almost from the start against the Bulls and were in control of the game throughout.

"Our defense has become active at the right time. Ayan is our lead raider but when needed the defense has done well too and that is why our team is doing well. We were superb right from the start. There was one moment where that Super Raid happened. But our guys recovered again and the game was in our hands from the start. Our team was always good. There were small mistakes happening. We worked on it and we spoke about things and focused more on practice," he said during the post-match press conference.

Deepak and Navdeep scored five tackle points each against the Bulls, managing to keep their raiders quiet on the mat. With eight wins in a row, Patna Pirates will be confident of continuing their excellent run in an attempt to make the final.

BC Ramesh reflects on defeat against Patna Pirates and the season

Bengaluru Bulls' Head Coach BC Ramesh reflected on their defeat against the Patna Pirates and their campaign. With this loss, the season came to an end for the Bulls. He reckoned that their defense was not good enough in the Playoffs and was also affected by injuries to some key players.

"It was a fresh entry for me after many years. A good team was made. We tried hard but it could not happen and two to three players got injured as well. Next year we will try to get players who will play for the team. If the defense plays well even Alireza will do well. Like Shubham Bitake today, or Ashish Malik, Ganesh, or Akash, all will support Alireza. But if the defense is not perfect then it is impossible for the team to win. That was a problem," he said.

Despite the exit, it was a commendable effort from the Bulls. They were impressive with a new team, a new captain, and a new coach. The Bulls finished third after the league stage. They will aim for an improved performance next season.
