Juncos Hollinger Racing finalized its lineup for the 2026 IndyCar season as Sting Ray Robb was confirmed to continue with the team. Robb came out and addressed his new partnership with 2026 teammate Rinus VeeKay as he looked forward to continuing the march toward the front of the grid with JHR.

Juncos Hollinger Racing signed Conor Daly and Sting Ray Robb as their new lineup ahead of the 2025 season, with Romain Grosjean leaving. However, Daly struggled with his sponsor, Polkadot, and eventually, after the end of the 2025 season, he wasn't re-signed by the team.

Sting Ray Robb, despite signing a multiple-year deal ahead of 2025, was not confirmed by JHR until now. On December 2, 2025, the IndyCar team released a press release confirming that the youngster will continue with the team.

IndyCar star Rinus VeeKay raced for Dale Coyne Racing in 2025 after leaving Ed Carpenter Racing, with whom he raced for five years. However, as the season came to a close, DCR did present an option to extend the contract for VeeKay, but the Dutchman decided otherwise and moved ships to join Juncos Hollinger Racing.

Sting Ray Robb and Rinus VeeKay will form a relatively young lineup for JHR going into the 2026 season. As the Idaho-born was confirmed by the team, Robb came out and reflected on the positive outlook of the team ahead of the upcoming season.

“Having Dave O’Neill’s (JHR Team Principal) experience at the helm has been huge. You can feel the way his racing pedigree shapes our processes, the way he leads the room, and the overall professionalism. Pair that with the insight from (engineer) Adam Carroll and the six seasons of experience Rinus brings as a teammate, and it feels like the whole operation is headed in the right direction,” said Robb

Detailing the new partnership with VeeKay, the American driver added,

“I'm excited to have Rinus as a teammate – we’re aligned, we’re hungry, and we’re ready to fight towards the front together.”

Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Principal reflects on the 2026 drivers as Sting Ray Robb completes the lineup

The 2025 IndyCar season was Sting Ray Robb’s third in the American open wheel racing series and his worst one in terms of performance. He finished the season 25th in the standings with just one Top 10 result to his name, which came at Long Beach.

However, JHR Team Principal showcased faith in the American, who will partner with IndyCar race winner Rinus VeeKay.

“Sting Ray is a key pillar in the structure we’re building for 2026. His commitment and approach match the ambition driving this team forward. We took meaningful steps this year, but we know there’s far more potential to unlock and 2026 is our chance to convert that progress into real performance gains. With the continuity Sting Ray provides, combined with the pace, experience and race-winning pedigree Rinus brings, we believe this lineup gives us the firepower to move up the order quickly,” said Dave O’Neill

VeeKay has a strong 2025 with DCR finishing 14th in the championship with a podium at Indy Toronto.
