Ka Yi Lee faced some resistance from Song Chaewon but finally prevailed 7-3, 5-7, 7-5, 7-2 in the second women's match.The Iranian girls put up a staunch fight against Japan. Fereshteh Eghtedari went down fighting to Satomi Watanabe, with the Japanese player winning 7-4, 3-7, 3-7, 7-4, 7-1.Akari Midorikawa overcame Fatemeh Falahati 4-7, 7-3, 7-3, 7-2.
