The highly anticipated men's 4x100m relay final saw Olympian Kujur anchor his KIIT squad to an easy gold medal, not only winning the race but also establishing a new meet record with an impressive time of 40.09 seconds. The silver medalists, Mahatma Gandhi University, also performed admirably by matching the previous KIUG record of 40.76 seconds, highlighting the immense level of competition in this discipline.

This sprint success was just one part of a phenomenal day for KIIT, as their athletes shone across various disciplines, starting with Samardeep Singh Gill in the men's shot put. Samardeep bettered his own All India University (AIU) and KIUG record by launching the shot put to a distance of 19.42 meters on his second attempt, easily securing the gold medal.

While KIIT stole the athletics spotlight with these records, the overall medal table was firmly headed by Chandigarh University. They significantly increased their lead to a total of 41 gold medals, largely due to their sweeping success in canoe and kayaking events held in Udaipur’s Fateh Sagar Lake. They collected seven crucial gold medals on the final day of the water sports discipline, proving their comprehensive dominance across these water events.

Beyond the track and the water, the men’s football final delivered thrilling action at Poornima University, ending in a tense penalty shoot-out after a goal-less score-line in regulation time. The University of Calicut ultimately defeated Guru Nanak Dev University 5-4 to clinch the prestigious football gold.

Other notable gold medals from the final day of athletics included Amandeep Kaur of Panjab University winning the women's 800m and Shashank Patil from Rani Channamma University throwing an impressive 71.88m to win the Javelin Throw gold. This highly successful and competitive Day 11 of Khelo India University Games was filled with new records and high drama across the Rajasthan venue.
