Chennai Super Warriors hold the top position in the Indian Pickleball League 2025 points table after the opening day of the tournament in New Delhi. The Warriors beat the Mumbai Smashers by 5-1 to earn five points in the standings.

It was a triple-header contest on the opening day of the Indian Pickleball League 2025. The first match was between the Lucknow Leopards and the Bengaluru Blasters, where the Leopards recorded a 5-1 win. Lucknow hold the second spot in the standings with five points, while Bengaluru are fifth with one point.
The second match of the tournament featured the Hyderabad Royals and the Capital Warriors Gurgaon. Hyderabad dominated the proceedings and led by 4-0 at one point, but Gurgaon won the grand rally to ensure the final scoreline was 4-2. Hyderabad are third in the points table with four points, while Lucknow are fourth with two points.
Can Mumbai Smashers enter the Top 3 of the Indian Pickleball League 2025 points table?
All six teams of the Indian Pickleball League will be in action on December 2 as well. The fourth tie of the tournament will take place between Hyderabad Royals and Chennai Super Warriors - two teams who won their respective opening matches on December 1.
The fifth tie will feature the Mumbai Smashers against the Lucknow Leopards. Mumbai started well against Chennai but could not continue the momentum. The Mumbai-based franchise will be keen to record their first season of IPBL on December 2.
In the final tie scheduled for December 2, Bengaluru Blasters will battle the Capital Warriors Gurgaon. Both teams lost their respective opening matches on December 1. It will be exciting to see which team records their maiden win.
