Indian Pickleball League 2025 action continued in New Delhi with another triple-header contest taking place on December 3. Mumbai Smashers battled against the Bengaluru Blasters, where the Blasters emerged victorious by 4-2.
It was a close tie, where both teams earned two points each in the first four matches. The tie went down to the Grand Rally, with the Bengaluru Blasters winning it by 21-20 to defeat the Mumbai Smashers by 4-2.
Quang Duong started the tie in dominant style for the Mumbai Smashers, recording a 15-10 win against Phuc Huynh in the men's singles round. Phuc bounced back strongly, teaming up with Arjun Singh to win the men's doubles match by 15-11.
Pei Chuan Kao gave the Blasters a 2-1 lead in the tie by defeating Mumbai's Allison Harris by 15-7 in the third mach. However, Mumbai leveled the score soon, with Allison and Pearl Amalsadiwala joining forced to defeat Kao and Rakshikha Ravi by 15-14 in women's doubles. Eventually, Bengaluru won the Grand Rally to record their first outright win of Indian Pickleball League 2025.
Chennai Super Warriors, Hyderabad Royals recorded wins on Day 3 of Indian Pickleball League 2025
It was a memorable evening for the south India-based franchises. While Bengaluru Blasters defeated the Mumbai Smashers, the Chennai Super Warriors brushed aside the Capital Warriors Gurgaon and the Hyderabad Royals decimated the Lucknow Leopards.
Talking about the match between Chennai and Gurgaon first, Chennai crushed Gurgaon by 5-1. Roos Van Reek stole the show with her excellent performance in the women's singles and women's doubles matches. She was named the Female Player of the Match.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad beat Lucknow by 5-1 as well. Megan Fudge from the Hyderabad Royals team won the Female Player of the Match as she crushed Shelby Bates by 15-4 in the women's singles match.
