Roos van Reek secured a 15-12 win over Mumbai's Allison Harris, while Chennai's Aaliya and Roos van Reek won the women's doubles by 15-10 against Allison Harris and Pearl Amalsadiwala. Chennai won the grand rally by 21-18 to win the tie by 5-1. Lucknow Leopards defeated Bengaluru Blasters in the opening tie of Indian Pickleball League 2025 After a grand opening ceremony in New Delhi, the first tie of the Indian Pickleball League 2025 took place between Lucknow Leopards and Bengaluru Blasters. Lucknow secured a comfortable 5-1 win in the tie by emerging victorious in the men's singles, women's singles, women's doubles and grand rally categories. Bengaluru's only point came in the men's doubles category. Their team of Arjun and Phuc Huynh defeated Himansh and Ryler Deheart by 15-8. Talking about the second match of the evening, Hyderabad Royals beat the Capital Warriors Gurgaon by 4-2. The Hyderabad-based franchise won the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles matches in the tie. They could have completed a 6-0 clean-sweep, but Gurgaon managed to win the Grand Rally by 21-14 to ensure that the final scoreline ended as 4-2 in favor of Hyderabad.
