Why GTA Online needs more customization options after A Safehouse in the Hills DLC

GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills is the next DLC dropping on December 10, 2025. The developers recently revealed various new features coming to the DLC, including some of the most advanced levels of customization for the new property. The community has long craved this level of customization detail.

However, an argument can be made that after this update, GTA Online should bring even more customization options to the game, not only for properties but also for characters.

GTA Online should receive more customization options in future updates

NPC's formal clothes and hairstyles for players

GTA Online has a healthy amount of clothing and hairstyle options for players. However, in recent times, they have not added any new formal outfits and hairstyles. Those who have been playing the game for many years now could get bored with the same options in the same in-game shops.

Hence, Rockstar Games could create a new in-game company that sells luxurious items similar to Ponsonbys. Understandably, the developers cannot add real clothing companies because of licensing issues, but they could add a few more parodies of companies like Ralph Lauren, Gucci, etc.

We have seen pictures of Flying Bravo in Los Santos, which is supposedly a parody of Ralph Lauren, but there are no known stores for the clothing company.

After the GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills DLC, Rockstar has the perfect opportunity to add a new luxurious clothing line so that players can flaunt their wealth.

New customization options for existing properties

Customizable interiors have been a feature the community has craved for ever since the game came out. Though GTA Online allows players to customize the interiors of their apartments, the customization is locked behind three or four presets. Additionally, some businesses cannot even be customized at all.

Hence, after the Mansions DLC, the developers could bring a massive customization DLC that allows players to change everything from the layout of their houses to the bar design in their nightclubs. Players should be able to change every single art piece in their houses, or change drinks in the kitchen.
