GTA 6 is shaping up to be Rockstar's most ambitious satire yet, and if past games are any indication, the world of Leonida will be packed with parodies of real-world companies and brands. Rockstar has always excelled at creating fictional versions of actual businesses that skewer American consumer culture while avoiding licensing issues.
With GTA 6 set in a fictionalized version of Florida and focused on modern 2020s culture, here are five types of real-world companies that will almost certainly get the Rockstar treatment.
Real-world companies that GTA 6 might refer to
1) Apple and tech giants

Apple has been in Rockstar's crosshairs since GTA V, where it appeared as Fruit Computers. The parody was obvious - minimalist logo design, sleek devices that looked suspiciously like iPhones and MacBooks, and that same premium branding that Apple uses in real life. GTA 6 will continue this tradition, probably expanding it to cover the entire modern tech ecosystem.
Fruit Computers or whatever Rockstar decides to call Apple's parody this time around will likely play a bigger role in GTA 6, given how central smartphones are to everyday life now compared to 2013 when GTA V launched.
Your in-game phone will probably be a Fruit device, complete with apps that parody real services.
2) Social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook

Social media is getting absolutely roasted in GTA 6, that much is already clear from the trailers and information that's been released. Rockstar confirmed the game will satirize 2020s social media and influencer culture, which means platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook are all getting the parody treatment.
We've already seen how Rockstar handles social media through Lifeinvader in GTA V, which was their take on Facebook. That was back when Facebook was still the dominant social platform and Instagram was just starting to take off. Now the landscape has completely changed.
TikTok dominates short-form video, Instagram is all about influencers and curated aesthetics, and Facebook is where your relatives argue about politics.
3) Luxury car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Mercedes

Cars have always been central to Grand Theft Auto, and GTA 6 won't be any different. Rockstar has spent years building a roster of fictional car brands that directly parody real luxury manufacturers, and they're going to expand that roster for the new game.
In previous GTA games, we've seen Benefactor as the stand-in for Mercedes-Benz, Pfister representing Porsche, and Pegassi as the Lamborghini equivalent. These aren't subtle parodies as the cars look almost exactly like their real-world counterparts, just with fictional badges and slightly altered names. A Benefactor Schafter is clearly a Mercedes S-Class. A Pfister 811 is inspired by Porsche's design language.
4) Fast food chains like Burger King, KFC

American fast food culture has been a staple of GTA satire for years, and GTA 6 is going to lean into this even harder. Previous games gave us Burger Shot (obviously Burger King), Cluckin' Bell (KFC), and various other food chains that parodied real restaurants. The drinks got the same treatment as Pisswasser for Budweiser, Sprunk for Sprite or Mountain Dew.
Florida specifically has a distinct fast food culture with regional chains and specific food trends that Rockstar will definitely exploit. Cuban food, seafood chains, beachside restaurants, the weird fusion of different cultural cuisines, all of this provides material for in-game businesses and brands.
5) Reality TV production companies

This one's interesting because the trailers and information about GTA 6 suggest a heavy focus on the relationship between Jason and Lucia, the game's two main characters. Their criminal partnership and relationship dynamic feels tailor-made for reality TV satire, especially given how much that format has dominated television over the past two decades.
Reality TV production is all about manufactured drama, exploitative editing, and turning real people into characters for entertainment. It's fake but presented as real, which makes it perfect material for GTA's satirical approach.
The game could feature in-game production companies that follow criminals around documenting their exploits, turning real crime into entertainment content.
