How to complete KnoWay Out mission 2 Inside Job in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update

A Safehouse in the Hills update for GTA Online brings a series of new missions where you take down a driverless taxi company called KnoWay, which seems to be based on Waymo. These missions require you to face off against the FIB while using disguises, engaging in subterfuge, and causing general mayhem. In the second mission, titled Inside Job, you'll be disguised as a KnoWay mercenary just to get inside the company's hideout and learn the location of their data center.

In light of that, we've prepared a detailed walkthrough for completing Inside Job in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills.

KnoWay Out mission 2 Inside Job walkthrough for GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills

Just like the previous mission, you start off by contacting Avi Schwartzman through a payphone in Los Santos. Once you do that, you'll immediately start the mission dressed as a KnoWay mercenary. Here's the list of tasks expected of you in this mission:

Meet the KnoWay contact.
Enter the Omnis e-GT.
Take the KnoWay contact to Downtown Cab Co.
Take the Omnis e-GT to the parking lot.
Wait for the KnoWay contact to plant the explosive.
Take the KnoWay contact to the hideout.
Follow the KnoWay contact.
Go to the briefing room.
Take out the KnoWay mercenaries.
Exit the hideout.
Go to the data center.
Enter the data center.
Find the hard drives.
Exit the data center.
Deliver the hard drives to Avi's dead drop.
Open the trunk of Avi's Felon GT.
Answer the payphone.

Meet your KnoWay contact and orchestrate the heist

Inside Job begins with your GTA Online character dressed as a KnoWay mercenary. At this point, you'll simply have to meet another merc.

Now, pick the guy up and drive the vehicle the game tells you to, which is an Omnis e-GT.

You're playing the part of a getaway driver, so you'll have to reach the Downtown Cab Co. building, drop off the merc, and be ready to bail at a moment's notice.

Your contact will drop off here to break into the building, and will come out the other end and into the parking lot where the taxis are parked.

Once you get in the parking lot, you'll have to wait for your contact to plant the explosive. Then, pick him up and drive away to trigger the explosion.

Get inside the KnoWay hideout

The cops will swarm in the moment the explosion is triggered. Be prepared to duck into an alley to avoid them as once they get your location, it's much harder to shake them off. When you're done with the cops or just managed to evade them, head to the hideout marked on your waypoint.

Get inside and enter the meeting room where an FIB agent will brief you on the situation and provide you the location to the KnoWay data center.

This is where Avi lets you know that your cover has been blown. You can either take out the mercs immediately or wait for the FIB agent to receive a phone call, after which everyone will be hostile to you.

Break into the data center

This part is pretty straightforward (Image via Sportskeeda || Rockstar Games)

Once you get out, you'll see your last used vehicle parked right outside, in the gas station. Get in and head to the data center.

Outside the data center, you'll face a few guards who are pretty easy to take out.

Inside is guarded as well but again, it's quite easy to deal with them. Just be sure to check all corners before rushing in, especially in the basement floor.

Once you clean the area of hostiles, there are three drives here that you'll be picking out individually.

Next, be prepared for a final onslaught as a small horde of KnoWay guards will try to ambush you when you exit the data center. The main obstacle here is the turreted vehicle, while the rest are easy pickings.

Take the drives and reach the dead drop

As usual, head back to Avi's dead drops where you'll be dropping off the stolen hard drives.

Just like before, open the trunk of the parked car and collect the money while also dropping off the drives this time. Next, answer the payphone to watch a cutscene and end the mission.
