GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update patch notes revealed

Rockstar Games has finally released the GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update. This DLC introduces mansions, which are among the most requested properties ever since the game was released in 2013. The popular protagonist from GTA 5, Michael De Santa, is also coming to GTA Online for the first time in this update.

With every single major DLC, Rockstar releases its patch notes, listing every feature and change. Here are the patch notes for GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills DLC.

Mansions and new missions in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills

GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update brings new mansions, missions, and Vehicles, as well as a new Mission Creator.

Mansions

Players can purchase three customizable mansions from the new Prix Luxury Real Estate website, providing access to exclusive features.

An AI Assistant grants players the ability to temporarily increase the production speed of a chosen business, fast travel to all owned properties/businesses, and throw mansion parties.
Players can choose from three distinct personalities for their AI Assistant: Angel, Haviland, and OG
AI Assistants can also be accessed in Freemode via a new phone contact
The office contains a Master Control Terminal, providing remote access to several owned business operations
Upper floors contain a Media Room, Spa, Cigar Room, Salon, and Trophy Cabinets which allow players to display accomplished milestones and achievements
The exterior includes Gym Equipment and Yoga mats, where players can build their Strength and Stamina to gain additional temporary stat bonuses, as well as a Rooftop Helipad for aerial entry and exit
Basement levels contain a Garage with space for 20 vehicles, a private Nightclub, and a personal Vault containing all the cash the player currently has across their wallet and bank account
Both a cat and dog can be purchased, which will appear throughout the mansion
Additional Security staff can be purchased, reducing the chance of owned businesses being raided or eliminating the risk entirely if the respective business Security upgrade has also been purchased
The following additional rooms can be purchased:
Armory – Provides access to the Mk II Weapon Workshop, a range of weapons to purchase, and a gun rack to customize weapon loadouts
Arcade – Allows the player to place and play owned arcade cabinets
Vehicle Podium – Displays a personal vehicle of the player’s choice inside the mansion
Vehicle Workshop – Allows the player to modify Personal Vehicles inside the mansion. GTA+ Members also gain access to the same exclusive mod options granted inside the Vinewood Club Garage:

KnoWay Out contact missions

Players will be contacted by Avi Schwartzman who has information on the new self-driving taxi company, KnoWay
These five new Story Missions come with new Awards as well as Career Progress Challenges
Career Progress challenges can be completed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC
The new Story Missions can be played with 1–4 players

Getaway Driver Random Event

Players can aid in a robbery in progress to earn GTA$ and RP.

New Vehicles and existing vehicle updates in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills

With GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills, Rockstar Games has added five new vehicles and made changes to several existing ones.

Five new vehicles have been added:

Vapid FMJ MK V (Super) – with HSW Upgrade - This vehicle will be exclusively available to claim for GTA+ Members until December 18, when it will be made available for general purchase.
Progen Luiva (Super) - This vehicle will be exclusively available to purchase for GTA+ Members at The Vinewood Car Club until December 18, when it will be made available for general purchase.

Übermacht Sentinel XS4 (Sedan)
Grotti GT750 (Sports Classic)

Other improvements and content in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills

GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills DLC also adds loads of smaller quality-of-life features. Additionally, Rockstar Games has worked hard to fix a plethora of under-the-hood issues in the game. To read all the bugs they fixed, players can head to their support website for full patch notes.

New Actions

Four new actions have been added that players can perform via the Interaction Menu or Quickplay Action button prompt.

Experience Improvements

Several changes have been made to GTA Online as part of this update:

Players will now receive GTA$500 in addition to existing RP for rating content
Vehicle websites now have a tab displaying some of the most popular vehicles from previous updates
Odd Jobs are now represented with cyan blips in Freemode
Patrick McReary is now available by default to all players for use as a Gunman in the Casino Heist, and his associated Random Event has been removed
Gunman Gustavo Mota's cut has been lowered to 8% for Casino Heists
The map blip options for Odd Jobs have been consolidated to allow all of them to be hidden/shown at once
The button prompt for exiting an active Creator test has been updated to make it more difficult to exit accidentally
When using the Override Rotation in Creators, the ‘Alignment’ setting ‘World’ has been renamed to ‘Free Rotation’ in line with the new Mission Creator

GTA+ Updates

The Vinewood Club App can now remotely manage the staff members of owned properties to send them on jobs:

Bail Office

GTA+ Members that own a mansion with the Vehicle Workshop upgrade can make use of the same exclusive mod options granted inside The Vinewood Club Garage:

Mission Creator

Players can now create and publish their own missions in the new Mission Creator.

A set of five example Missions can be played and edited inside the Creator to provide examples of how different mission types are achieved
