GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills DLC: Everything revealed by Rockstar so far

Rockstar has finally revealed the official trailer for GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills DLC, along with a newswire article detailing many of its upcoming features. So, we now know the official release date, the number of mansions and their various features, and even some of the major characters featured in the update. Some of the features, and even the characters you'll get to see in this DLC are sure to surprise you.

So, we've laid out all the details you need to know about GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills right here. Learn what you'll be getting into when you buy one of the upcoming mansions, along with the NPCs you'll run into, the heists you'll partake in, and the vehicles you can purchase.

GTA Online Mansions DLC: All the features revealed so far

Before you learn all about the DLC, be sure to watch the official trailer embedded above, as revealed on December 5, 2025.

Rockstar has revealed the release date for the mansions DLC to be December 10, 2025, and a much-awaited character seems to be finally arriving in GTA Online: Michael De Santa. You'll also get a sneak peek of the missions, the vehicles, and more.

There are three locations for the purchasable mansions in GTA Online, which are:

Buen Vino Road Mansion, Buen Vino Road, Tongva Hills (Devin Weston's mansion)
Ace Jones Drive Overlook, Ace Jones Drive, Vinewood Hills
Marlowe Drive Overlook, Marlowe Drive, Vinewood Hills

Here's what Rockstar mentions about the locations in their official newswire:

"You’ve built an empire. Now let us erect your palace. Choose from three distinct luxury locations in Los Santos’ most exclusive neighborhoods. Withdraw to the Tongva Hills and its stellar views of the Pacific Ocean, thrive amongst the city's elite in Richman, or bask in the carcinogenic glow of the Vinewood sign."

The first one is the most recognizable, as it's the one owned by Devin Weston in Grand Theft Auto 5. The second one is featured in the trailer itself, while the third one was seen to be under construction after the New Listings missions came out.

Here's what the mansion exteriors will have in GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills:

A driveway: The driveway seems to be a feature through which you can display your chosen vehicles in your mansion grounds, although Rockstar hasn't revealed how this works.
Outdoor spaces: There's enough space in the mansion grounds to host parties, although we still don't know if this is a feature or not.
A yoga area: The trailer showcases GTA Online characters doing yoga on the roof of a particular mansion.
A swimming pool: No mansion is complete without a massive pool.
A hot tub: Your mansions don't just have a pool, but a jacuzzi as well.
Personal gym: This is an interesting new feature that might be meant to reveal how gyms and exercise equipment will work in GTA 6.
Kennels: The most intriguing feature of this DLC are the kennels; you might be able to keep dogs as pets.
A garage: As expected, there's a massive garage with the new mansions.
A rooftop helipad: A helicopter is seen approaching the mansion in the very first frame of the trailer.

Bedrooms: It's not really a mansion if it only has a single bedroom, so you'll have both master and guest bedrooms with this new property.
Lounge: Another vital room in any mansion.
Cigar room: A room specifically built to remind you of how luxurious your new house really is.
Office: How else will you manage your criminal empire?
Trophy room: To show off all your exploits gathered throughout your GTA Online career.
Vault: Up until now, you've been raiding other's vaults, so here's a chance to build your own.
Private salon: Now you can get haircuts from inside your home.
Media room: A personal theater which seems to be similar to the one in your Casino penthouse.
Interior customization: You'll be able to choose how your interior decor looks, just like most of the other safehouses.

Here are some additional upgrades for your mansion which will undoubtedly cost a bit more:

Podium: This lets you showcase your favorite vehicles from your garages.
Armory: This is pretty similar to the Armory in your Agency, and it also requires you to have one.
Arcade: A small Arcade that can only be installed if you already own an Arcade.
Vehicle Workshop: A custom vehicle workshop has almost become a necessity for a good safehouse in GTA Online.

On top of this, you can host parties in your mansions which will let you invite friends and even other GTA Online players in your session. You'll also have your personal squad of bodyguards throughout the property, just to cement the fact that you're a powerful crime lord in Los Santos.

Vehicles, missions, and more

The new DLC will, as expected, feature some new missions and vehicles. As mentioned before, Michael De Santa is making a reappearance, along with his wife Amanda. Meanwhile, the new mission series will have you stopping "the development of a mass surveillance network." Along with Michael, the new DLC will also feature an AI concierge named Haviland, who seems to be a permanent part of your new mansion, and a part of the missions as well.

Some of the new vehicles will include:

Vapid FMJ MK V: A new variant of the Vapid FMJ inspired by the Ford GT Mk IV.
A yet unknown car based on the Ferrari Daytona.
A new Pfister car based on a custom Nardone Porsche 928 restomod.
A new Pfister electric car based on the Porsche Mission X.
A robotaxi variant of the Karin Vivanite driven by "KnoWay."

Rockstar has also mentioned new police cars, and drift variants of existing cars. On top of this, a new Mission Creator will be made available to all versions of GTA Online which will let you create your own custom missions.
