Xander Schauffele beats Tommy Fleetwood, others on the Skins Game odds list

Xander Schauffele beat Tommy Fleetwood in the Skins Game odds. This week, the American golfer is preparing for a special golf event scheduled for Friday. Ahead of that, the tournament officials have unveiled the odds by sharing a post on their X (formerly Twitter) account.

It is topped by Xander Schauffele with +260, followed by Fleetwood at +265. The event also features Keegan Bradley and Shane Lowry, who had the odds of +285 and +310, respectively. Sharing the post, The Skins Game wrote:

"Money talks. Odds walk. 💸 Xander is the favorite but it’s anyone’s game. Who are you taking? 🤨 Tune in tomorrow at 9am to see the boys battle it out, only on @PrimeVideo"

Xander Schauffele and Tommy Fleetwood have had an impressive season. The American golfer played in 16 tournaments and made the cut in all of them. He recorded four finishes in the top 10.

In his last outing at the BayCurrent Classic, Schauffele registered a win and earned $1.4 million in prize money. Meanwhile, earlier this season, he settled in T8 at the Masters and Genesis Scottish Open, T7 at The Open Championship, and T22 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Meanwhile, Tommy Fleetwood won his maiden PGA Tour event at the season-ending Tour Championship. He was the runner-up at the Travelers Championship and settled in T3 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Meanwhile, on the DP World Tour, he won the DP World India Championship and was the runner-up at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He last played at the DP World Tour Championship and finished in T3 place.

Xander Schauffele shares to do "some digging on Tommy Fleetwood" at The Skins Game

Ahead of the start of the Skins Game, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood, Keegan Bradley, and Shane Lowry spoke about their game. They talked about the trash talk. Schauffele opened up about Fleetwood and said (via Golf Week):

"I’m going to have to do some digging on Tommy…I’m going to have to do some digging on these boys and see what I can come up with."

The trash talk has already started. Lowry has took a dig at the US Ryder Cup captain, Keegan Bradley, earlier this week. Schauffele also said that he initially had talks for Justin Thomas, who withdrew from the competition ahead of the start after he underwent surgery.

“I actually had so much material against JT,” he said. “I feel like I've been undressed during this. I have to ask ChatGPT how to talk smack to these guys because JT was going to be my sole target.

Shane Lowry has replaced Thomas for the Skins Game. The made-for-TV exhibition event is returning after 17 years. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
