Tiger Woods' Hero World Challenge is currently underway at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas. The event has been taking place every year since 2000, when Tiger and his father established it to generate funds for underserved communities. While the event is still in progress, Wyndham Clark recently stated that the course hosting is in terrible condition.

Clark recently appeared in an interview where he discussed how Tiger Woods' Hero World Challenge is being organised this year and how the course has treated him. The 31-year-old golfer explained that the course contains a lot of upside chips, which forces golfers to hit an uphill chip with a very small margin of error.

Wyndham Clark explained the situation of the course as he stated,

"Do you want the politically correct answer?… It’s not in good shape. You’re always chipping into the grain, and there’s a lot of chips that are up, and over, so you have to chip up, and you’re coming from really bad lies in Bermuda, and you have to hit it up, and there’s just very little margin for error.”

Despite the things Clark pointed out about the course, the 2025 Hero World Challenge has been quite competitive, with five players tied for the lead after round two. All of them have a total score of 10 under par, demonstrating that, despite the uphill chipping, the course is clearly favouring golfers.

Apart from all these things, on the other hand, the host of the tournament, Tiger Woods, is not playing in this tournament, and he recently discussed his prospective return to golf.

Tiger Woods' return to competitive golf has been uncertain since he underwent surgery for a disc replacement in his lower back in October 2025. Recently, the golfer talked about his recovery and stated that any return date has yet to be decided. Woods also revealed that he is still not ready to commit to the game and what his schedule will be, even if he does make a return.

According to Newsweek, Woods stated,

"I'm just looking forward to ... just let me get back to playing again, let me do that, and then I'll, kind of, figure out what the schedule is going to be. I'm a ways away from that part of it and that type of decision, that type of commitment level. Unfortunately, I've been through this rehab process before; it's just step by step."

The 82-time PGA Tour winner also claimed that once his return to professional golf takes place, he will determine the length of the rest of his playing career.
