Who is Davis Lamb? Former bartender chasing his first PGA Tour card

Davis Lamb is a former food delivery driver who didn't quit his passion for golf. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland, and previously worked as a bartender at the Tia Queta Restaurant. He completed his graduation from the University of Notre Dame and played golf there. Finally, he turned professional in 2021.

Lamb has participated in 15 PGA Tour events and secured one runner-up finish. He had six top 10 finishes overall and nine top 25 finishes. He made it through 12 cutlines in various events and missed three cuts so far.

As the regular PGA Tour season completed, it is time for the PGA Tour qualifying for the 2026 season. Davis Lamb is also chasing his PGA Tour card for next year. He shared that he had been planning to get into the Tour and tried to perform well. He said, via the PGA Tour:

“Coming into this year, I wasn’t sure if playing in South America and Canada was the right decision, but I’m obviously glad I did. I had a good plan for how to attack this Tour, and I think I made big strides since last year.

"My goal was simply to play as well as I could and hopefully breeze right through. I want to prove to myself that I can compete on the Korn Ferry Tour—it’s just a matter of putting everything together.”

How did Davis Lamb perform in the 2025 and 2024 seasons?

Davis Lamb played 15 tournaments in the 2025 season. Out of which, he won the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship with a total score of 15-under. At the event, he opened with 61 after dropping one birdie and two eagles on the front nine, followed by four birdies and one eagle on the back nine. In the second round, he fired 68 with two birdies on the front nine and two birdies on the back nine.

Apart from this, the golfer achieved five top 10 finishes in the 2025 season, including a second-place finish at the Bromont Open with a score of 20-under and a T5 at the Osprey Valley Open with a score of 20-under.
