Just like most of the golf world, Bryson DeChambeau is also a fan of Tiger Woods. When the star golfer first faced his childhood hero, he was left in awe of him, although he did put up an impressive show.

Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau were paired together for the first time in the third round of the Dell Technologies Championship. While Woods carded a 3-under 68, the then 24-year-old golfer outdid him, firing an 8-under 63 in their first meeting.

During the post-round interview, Bryson DeChambeau was full of praise for the all-time great.

"He's my childhood idol," he said, according to ESPN. "I've admired him my whole entire life. And to be finally able to play with him under tournament conditions, it was different. I was a little nervous, for sure. But I was able to get out there and execute shots and worry about my game and focus on hitting the best shots possible. And I was able to play really well like that.''

Tiger Woods also shared similar sentiments for Bryson DeChambeau.

"He's fantastic to play with," he said. "He's great. This is the first time I've ever played with him in a tournament round. We played practice rounds quite a bit this year, and he's fantastic."

The following day, DeChambeau went on to win the Dell Technologies Championship and beat Justin Rose by two strokes.

Is Bryson DeChambeau playing Tiger Woods' hosted Hero World Challenge?

Bryson DeChambeau is not playing at the Hero World Challenge, which will take place from Thursday, December 4, to Sunday, December 7, at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas.

DeChambeau and other LIV golfers are not eligible to play in PGA Tour-sanctioned events, and hence, the ace golfer did not have the option to play at the Tiger Woods-hosted event. He was last seen competing at the LIV Golf Team Championship, where Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII posted a one-stroke win over his team, Crushers GC, in the finals.
