Tiger Woods and Mike Trout have teamed up to create Trout National, a private golf club in Millville, New Jersey, about an hour from Philadelphia. The club opened for preview play in October and will officially welcome members in the spring.Mike Trout, a three-time MLB MVP with a net worth of $140 million (as per Celebrity Networth), is a two-handicap golfer. He wanted a golf destination that matched his love for the game and his post-baseball life. When his business partner, John Ruga, found a 288-acre parcel in Millville, they partnered with Tiger Woods’ design firm, TGR Design, to bring the project to life.The property used to be a silica sand mine. Its natural terrain made it perfect for golf, and the turf was allowed to grow in for a full season. Trout National is the largest golf development in South Jersey outside of Atlantic City.Golf Digest shared a look at the course on X, calling it “the most hyped golf playgrounds in modern history.”Watch the video below:Trout National covers 288 acres. It has a main course, a short-game area matching the course’s grain, and a six-hole fully lit short course called the Bullpen. Members also get a 7,600-square-foot performance center with indoor and outdoor TrackMan bays, PuttView, force plates, and a stretching lab. There is a fitness center with views over the course.One of the best parts is The Dugout, a ground-level area behind the 14th and 16th tees. It looks like a baseball dugout, with stadium seating, a live scoreboard, a comfort station, and a bar. Members include professional athletes, sports franchise owners, and tour players. The project cost over $100 million and is one of the most anticipated golf developments in recent years.Tiger Woods is also working on his latest course at the Marcella Club. His firm, TGR Design, has designed courses worldwide, including Bluejack National in Texas, El Cardonal at Diamante in Mexico, and The Oasis Short Course in Mexico.Tiger Woods stars in the PGA Tour 2K commercial for Nintendo SwitchTiger Woods appeared in a new commercial for the PGA Tour 2K on Nintendo Switch this week.
