Scottie Scheffler’s on-course earning drops while Rory McIlroy bags more in 2025

Scottie Scheffler has topped the PGA Tour earnings for the fourth straight year. However, interestingly, his earnings have dropped this year, unlike Rory McIlroy, who had a better year than 2024.

This season, Scheffler finished as the year-end No. 1 with six PGA Tour titles and ended up earning $27,659,550. Interestingly, he had bagged $29,228,357 in the 2024 season, which also included six wins alongside the Hero World Challenge and the Olympic gold medal.

Tommy Fleetwood finished second with earnings of $18,496,238, followed by Rory McIlroy at third with $16,992,418. The Northern Irishman won three titles this season and earned a whopping $6,098,728 more than in 2024.

Rory McIlroy's wins included the first-ever Masters Tournament title, which earned him inclusion in the exclusive group of career Grand Slam winners.
