LPGA Tour’s new chief, Craig Kessler, was spotted sitting between Annika Sörenstam and Lydia Ko at the Rolex Awards. On Monday, the LPGA Tour players attended the award ceremony ahead of the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.Golf analyst Josh Carpenter has shared a picture of the ceremony in which the Kessler was seen sitting between Sörenstam and Ko. He joined the office in July 2025.This year at the Rolex Awards, Miyu Yamashita has been awarded the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Award. I am also grateful to have my name included among many wonderful players who have won this award before me. She played in 15 tournaments and made the cut in 13 of them. She started her campaign with a solo sixth-place finish at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, where she carded the four rounds of 73, 67, 65, and 70.She then had a tough time on the greens in her next outing at the Founders Cup, where she played the four rounds of 74, 68, 70, and 71 and settled in a tie for 48th place.Ko won the 2025 HSBC Women’s World Championship after playing the four rounds of 71, 67, 68, and 69. Some of her other notable finishes are T6 at the Ford Championship, T12 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, T5 at the CPKC Women’s Open, and T14 at the Kroger Queen City Championship.Lydia Ko last played at the Maybank Championship, where she played the four rounds of 66, 70, 68, and 68 and settled in a tie for ninth place.
