Nelly Korda joined her sister Jessica Korda for a practice session at the driving range on Sunday, just days before the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational. The sisters were back on the range together as they continued their preparations for the mixed-team event.
On November 30, the former World No.1 shared a short clip on her Instagram story showing the six-time LPGA winner taking a swing while she stood behind her. She captioned the video writing:
“Hey @thejessicakorda”
Talking more about Nelly Korda's Instagram story, here's a look:

Jessica Korda is working toward her return to professional golf after stepping away in May 2023 due to a recurring back injury. After welcoming her son in 2024, she is now preparing to appear at the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational which will be held from December 12 to 14 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Although the tournament is not an official LPGA event, it will mark her first competitive start in more than two years.
Meanwhile, the World No.2 has already closed out her LPGA season, with her last appearance coming at the CME Group Tour Championship. Even though the two did not compete together this year, Jessica was still present in the game, supporting her younger sister through her work in the broadcast booth.
Nelly Korda once shared how reassuring it felt to have Jessica working inside the ropes
Nelly Korda has spoken in the past about how much she relies on her sister’s presence during tournaments. Earlier in the season Jessica Korda worked inside the ropes at the Amundi Evian Championship as an on-course reporter for Korda’s opening round. It was the first time Jessica joined the Golf Channel broadcast team, and the younger Korda said the experience felt reassuring.
Jessica joked after the round that Nelly “almost hit me a couple times” when she missed the fairway to which Nelly replied with a laugh
"Maybe you should have stayed in the fairway and I would've hit you,"
She then admitted that having her sister around helped her settle in, saying,
"It's like a little comfort blanket to have you out there. Hopefully I have you for the rest of the week."
As the sisters now head into the Grant Thornton Invitational, they will both be inside the ropes again, this time as players. Jessica Korda will team up with Bud Cauley while Nelly will compete alongside Denny McCarthy.
