Michael Brennan clinched his first PGA Tour victory at the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship. The 23-year-old golfer entered the tournament with a sponsor exemption and carded an impressive 22-under par score to claim the title. He is only the second player, after Nick Dunlap, to win on the PGA Tour on a sponsor's exemption.Brennan turned professional in 2024 and primarily plays on the PGA Tour Americas, where he has secured three wins this year. The young golfer also competed in the 2023 U.S. Open and the 2022 Genesis Invitational, where he missed the cut in both events. During the post-round press conference on the final day, Brennan shared his thoughts about his latest victory (via ASAP Sports):"Yeah, played some good golf. I don't know, it's a little tough. It's something I work for and I felt like I had been playing good for a while. I feel like maybe I have an idea what clicked, but I'm really not 100% sure. I'll take it and hope to continue playing solid golf."He went on to speak about his long-time dream of winning on the Tour, as he said:"Hundred percent, Been my dream for a very long time to play on the PGA Tour and win on the PGA Tour, so, yeah, it feels amazing to do it.
