Marco Penge reacted to a journalist ranking the longest hitters in 2025, but he had not included him. The English golfer had an impressive year on the DP World Tour, and he made the headlines for his long hits.
On Thursday, golf analyst Jamie Kennedy shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, in which he mentioned the names of the players with average driving distances in yards. The list was topped by LIV golfer Joaquin Niemann, who has an average driving distance of 330.4 yards, followed by Bryson DeChambeau and other players, including Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy. He wrote:
"Longest hitters in golf. Average driving distance (yards) in 2025. 330.4: Niemann (LIV), 328.8: DeChambeau (LIV), 327.6: Burmester (LIV), 325.3: Puig (LIV), 325.0: Potgieter (PGA), 324.6: Uihlein (LIV), 323.3: Rahm (LIV), 323.0: McIlroy (PGA), 321.2: Neinaber (DPWT)"
The post does not include Marco Penge’s name, and he reacted to it on his X account with a face with monocle emoji and a face with bandage emoji.
