Lydia Ko is arguably one of the biggest faces of the LPGA Tour and women's golf. She has worked hard her entire career to elevate women's golf and draw as many eyeballs to the LPGA Tour as possible. Ko recently shared an interesting Instagram story in which she revealed how she had watched a YouTube golf match featuring Grant Horvat and how one of his statements piqued her interest.
Grant Horvat is one of the most popular golf YouTubers, with more than 1.5 million subscribers. He often collaborates with other content creators, and he was recently a guest on Taco Golf. Lydia Ko watched the collaboration video of Horvat and Taco Golf, after which she published a screenshot of it on her story.
In the caption of this story, Ko highlighted one of Horvat's statements in which he claimed to watch and enjoy the LPGA Tour. Ko thanked the YouTuber for giving the entire tour such a huge shoutout. The caption reads:
"Just watched @tacogolf 's latest video and loved hearing that @granthorvat watches a lot of @lpga_tour. Thank you for the shoutout."
Talking more about her story, here's a look at it:

Lydia Ko is currently gearing up for the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational, a seven-day mixed team event in which PGA Tour and LPGA golfers pair together. This event will feature 16 teams and will take place at the Tiburón Golf Club and The Ritz-Carlton Naples beginning on December 8.
Ko will partner up with Jason Day, and not only are the two of them a good combo, but they were also the champions of the tournament's inaugural edition in 2023. It was a fantastic moment for both, but Ko's memorable moment for the event had nothing to do with golf.
Lydia Ko once stated what her favorite 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational moment was

Jason Day and Lydia Ko, as the defending champions of the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational, did an extensive interview before the tournament began. Interestingly, Ko mentioned that the best moment from their previous tournament victory was when Day's kid, Arrow, ran towards them during the victorious moment.
Ko added that because she does not have a child of her own, she has never experienced such a familial moment since winning. She stated:
"I think one of my one of the things that I remember most was when, was it Arrow? He ran onto the prize ceremony on the 18th hole, which was really cool. Obviously, I don’t have kids, so to see that kind of special moment with family was really memorable."
The golfer also stated that playing alongside Jason Day is a lot of fun and that she thoroughly enjoyed the competition.
